Another Fun Day in Houston!

Tim and I were on I-10 heading to Houston bright and early this morning with four kiddos in tow! Makenzie, Mason, August and Maggie were in view when we looked back. Maggie and August (our 20 month old Surro twins) had spent the weekend with us so we were taking them home to Houston and celebrating their big brother Davis' 4th Birthday with a Rocket Party that afternoon. Made it to Houston fairly easy arriving at the Whiteners house as scheduled for lunch. Fed Maggie and August then left so they could nap while AJ and Daniel finished last minute party preparations. We headed to Missy and Jaren's house which is not far at all we figured out. We were met at their door with Sky SUPER happy to have company! He smelled out Mason and was glued to him from then on. The kids played the Wii and gave some good entertainment for a while. The guys talked while Missy shared her scrapbooks with me and filled me on on more history between them. Always fun to get to know someone more from their past. Tim for the party at 1:40 so we headed out. Tim and the kids went on to the party. We knew they were antsy to get in the pool. I rode with Missy and Jaren to help with directions. Got there and the rest is history. They stayed long enough to endure a rain storm under the poolside cabana with AJ and Daniel's closest friends and us of course. We actually made good use of that time and all had great conversation. Missy held little 3 month old Autumn while her parents, April & Taff, watched with us. She was so cute with Autumn. This motherly approach came over her while holding a sweet baby girl. I can totally see Missy doting on her infant daughter! Without a doubt! Jaren carted August around again. This is the second time he's just hung out there holding August. I can SO see him holding his little guy. So sweet! Makes you wonder what's in the Glass' family future!!!!
