First Appt With The Kids Along For The Ride
This morning Makenzie, Mason and I got up and ready at 6am. Left with plenty of time to travel at our pace to Houston IVF (HIVF) by 10am for my appt. Today is another lining check and of course lab work. Met Missy there since she had already finished with her appt. Everything looked good but waiting for the news is always hard. Missy rode with us after the appt to the mall near by. Makenzie and Mason rode the carousel in the middle of the food court then we walked the mall before going to Subway for lunch. My kids choice of course. :-) They rode the carousel two more times while Missy and I finished our lunch. We then headed to Hallmark to look around. Makenzie and Mason LOVE that store! Missy found a special little something to give Jaren for their first wedding anniversary coming up Sunday the 14th. The kids didn't find anything Mom said was okay to purchase so they talked me into Build-A-Bear. Oh why did I let them talk me into that? :-) Makenzie chose the Frog retiring soon. She named her "Ribbit" and has her dressed in a black and white capri pants and tank top outfit. Mason chose the Longhorn. Of course he had to name him "Bevo". No better name to choose. :-) He remains clothing free but then again he is an animal. We heard from Andrea (the other HIVF nurse - Barb was out) with our lab updates soon after. Missy's estrogen level really went up! 4,868 today! Perfect for a woman who's about to have an egg retrieval. Her eggs also looked great again. My results were worrisome to me since it's different from my norm with my last two cycles but still perfectly fine to HIVF staff. My lining went down to 10.6mm but still well above the 7mm they need. My estrogen went down to almost half what is was. Only 937 today but higher then the 400 it needs to be. So all is still good and no worries. We drove Missy back to the parking garage before heading home. When Missy turned back to say goodbye to the kids we saw Mason off in sleepy land holding his Longhorn, Bevo, tighter then ever. So sweet.
