Round Two Results

At 10am this morning I went to FC of S.A. with Makenzie and Mason. We had to sit for quite a while being that they had patients every ten minutes from 7:30am till 10am with me being that last patient. Makenzie and Mason did an exceptional job waiting quietly. Had my blood drawn and decided to let the kids pick out something from the gift shop as a reward on our way out. Like always they were drawn straight to the Ty brand stuffed animals. They like the Classics. Mason without a doubt picked up a Husky with blue eyes. Mason named him Thunder. Makenzie looked around for a bit knowing she wanted a dog as well and lucked out. She came across two very cute dogs and decided on the Maltese look-a-like. For those who know Missy well can you guess what Makenzie named her new Ty dog? Maddy. This dog even has a bow in her hair like the real Maddy. Makenzie is very proud of her. They thanked me for their newest Ty additions on the way to the car. Another wait begins....

We met with my friend Amber quickly to give her some stuff I had before going to Sonic for a milkshake. We went by the Target near there and I picked up another sundress! So comfy right now. Not long after we pulled into the driveway Tim came home for the day then his Dad, Jay, pulled up. He was picking Makenzie up to make the drive to Wimberly to pick up Tim's cousins for the weekend from camp. (They're camp counselors now at the camp they grew up attending during their past summers). Just Tim, Mason and I now. We decided to get a late lunch at Aw Dang Chinese Cuisine. We know the owner, Dang, well and shared our pregnancy news with her. She looked so surprised. She followed our last surrogacy pregnancy and loves when Maggie and August stay with us since we bring them in for her to see. She wished us lots of luck and surprised us with desert! After lunch I didn't feel so hot. Even had to run to the bathroom. The "queesies" are sneaking in now. No fun! But that's a very good sign so.... weighing the options. Haven't made up my mind yet. :-)

Missy called on our way home with the results from Barb about today's blood test. Finally! We were waiting to hear something and these results came in late afternoon. Well, our HCG level for sure doubled! More then doubled! Today our HCG level is 562! My estrogen and progesterone levels are also great. Now the two week wait begins for our next milestone. Our 6 week ultrasound appt at HIVF. We'll have an ultrasound and will see how many heartbeats are growing in there! Our appt is Wednesday, July 8 at 11:30am.

Another surprise came late this afternoon. Missy's Parents, Linda and Charlie, sent a beautiful flower arrangement to say thanks for our part. We thrilled to help! And thank you!
